Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 24, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of sacjudgmentcollection.com and any services offered by SAC Judgment Collection (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing this website or submitting a judgment for evaluation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this site.

1. Description of Services

SAC Judgment Collection evaluates California commercial judgments and, at its sole discretion, may offer to purchase or take assignment of qualifying judgments. Our services include:

  • Free evaluation of submitted judgments against our acceptance criteria
  • Purchase or assignment of qualifying California superior court judgments
  • Communication with judgment holders regarding evaluation results and next steps

We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or court filing services. Nothing on this website constitutes an attorney-client relationship. For legal advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed California attorney.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To submit a judgment for evaluation, the following minimum criteria must be met:

  • The judgment must be a California superior court judgment
  • The judgment must be a commercial judgment (business-to-business dispute) — we do not evaluate consumer or personal injury judgments
  • The face value of the judgment must be at least $10,000 at the time of submission
  • You must be the judgment creditor of record or have legal authority to sell or assign the judgment

Submission of a judgment does not guarantee that we will make an offer. We reserve the right to decline any judgment at our sole discretion without stating a reason.

3. Submission of Information

When you submit a judgment evaluation request, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the judgment creditor of record or are authorized to act on their behalf
  • All information and documents you submit are accurate, complete, and not misleading
  • The judgment is valid, unsatisfied, and not subject to any pending appeal, stay, or vacatur
  • You have not previously sold, assigned, or encumbered the judgment
  • You have the legal authority to sell or assign the judgment if an offer is accepted

Submitting false or misleading information may result in termination of any agreement and potential legal liability.

4. No Obligation to Purchase

Submission of a judgment evaluation request creates no obligation on our part to make an offer or purchase your judgment. An evaluation response is informational only. A binding agreement is only formed upon execution of a written Assignment Agreement signed by both parties.

5. Confidentiality

We treat all submitted judgment information as confidential. We will not disclose the details of your submission to third parties except as necessary to conduct due diligence, comply with legal obligations, or complete a transaction you have authorized. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY CALIFORNIA LAW, SAC JUDGMENT COLLECTION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THIS SITE OR SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SAC Judgment Collection, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of this site, your submission of inaccurate information, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
