Does the debtor have to be in Los Angeles?
No. California judgments are enforceable statewide. If your debtor has moved, we can still evaluate the judgment. Tell us where they are.
What if the judgment was entered in an LA small claims court?
Small claims judgments can be sold, but our minimum is $10,000 face value — which is above the small claims limit. If your judgment was appealed to the superior court on de novo review and resulted in a superior court judgment over $10,000, tell us.
